How did we come to this?
A sole vessel offering comfort

A shipwreck is all that has remained now
Broken skulls and empty promises
Ghosts - they come mostly at night

How did it come to this?
It’s all a distant memory now
How I long for that sweet sea water

Once again, I try and try to understand

Unanswered questions fueled by doubt filling my head
